FRED BOECKMANN AWARD

At the business meeting held as part of the 2024 Missouri Municipal Attorney's Annual Conference in Osage Beach, Missouri, the membership established the Fred Boeckmann Longevity of Service Award.  The award is “based the awardee’s high standards of commitment and professional excellence as evidenced by the awardee’s service to a single community for approximately twenty-five or more years. Twenty-five years of service to a single community shall be guide, not a minimum.  The Fred Boeckmann Longevity Award may be bestowed annually to one or more members or former members; or less frequently in the judgment of the Fred Boeckmann Longevity Award Selection Committee. The award is named in honor of longstanding Columbia City Attorney Fred Boeckmann.
